Blenavar Social Business Network

Privacy Policy โ€ข Effective 20 July 2026

GOA Community Services ("we", "us", "our") operates the Blenavar Social Business Network ("BSBN", "Blenavar", the "Platform"), accessible at goacommunityservices.com/blenavar-social-business-network. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect from users of the Platform, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. This Policy is written to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation ("NDPR") as administered by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission ("NDPC").

By using Blenavar, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Platform.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

โ— Account information: name, email or phone number used for login, password (stored in hashed/encrypted form), gender, country and state of residence.

โ— Business Card details: business name, description/expertise, category, contact phone number, external links, and any photos you upload.

โ— Content you create: forum posts, images, YouTube links, comments, private messages, group messages, and voice note recordings.

โ— Payment and payout details: for creators requesting a withdrawal, we collect bank account name/number or supported cryptocurrency wallet address. For advertisers/subscribers, we collect payment confirmation details relevant to the payment method chosen (crypto transaction reference, or bank transfer proof for Naira claims).

โ— Support communications: any information you provide when contacting Support or submitting a report about another user or piece of content.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

โ— Usage data: posts viewed, links clicked, likes, comments, and general interaction with content, used to power features such as post performance analytics shown to creators.

โ— Device and log data: IP address (used for rate-limiting and abuse prevention), browser/device type, and approximate location derived from your registered country/state.

โ— Session data: authentication tokens used to keep you logged in, stored as described in Section 6.

2. How We Use Your Data

โ— To create and operate your account, Business Card, and access to Platform features.

โ— To display your posts, comments, and Business Card to other users as intended by the Platform's social/networking functionality.

โ— To operate messaging, including delivering private and group messages, images, and voice notes to their intended recipients.

โ— To calculate and display post performance analytics (views, clicks, likes, comments) to the creator of that content.

โ— To process payments, manage your wallet balance, review withdrawal requests, and pay out creator earnings.

โ— To detect and prevent fraud, spam, fake engagement, and violations of our Terms and Conditions.

โ— To respond to support requests and investigate reports made against content or accounts.

โ— To send you Platform-related notifications (e.g. new messages, likes, comments, group join requests) via the in-app notification system.

โ— To comply with applicable Nigerian law, including responding to lawful requests from regulators or law enforcement.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (NDPR)

We process your personal data on the following legal bases recognised under the NDPR:

โ— Consent โ€” where you have given clear consent, such as by registering an account or opting into a specific feature.

โ— Contractual necessity โ€” processing needed to provide the Platform's core services under our Terms and Conditions.

โ— Legitimate interest โ€” for fraud prevention, Platform security, and improving our services, balanced against your rights and interests.

โ— Legal obligation โ€” where processing is required to comply with Nigerian law or a lawful order of a competent authority.

4. Sharing of Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:

โ— With other users, to the extent you choose to make information public (e.g. your Business Card, forum posts, comments) or share it directly (e.g. private/group messages).

โ— With payment processors (including our cryptocurrency payment processor) solely to process payments you initiate โ€” these processors have their own privacy practices governing the payment data they handle.

โ— With Cloudflare, Inc., our infrastructure provider, which hosts our servers, database, file storage, and related services on our behalf, under its own data processing terms.

โ— With law enforcement or regulators, where required by Nigerian law, a valid court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GOA Community Services, our users, or the public.

โ— With a successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of GOA Community Services' assets, subject to that entity's continued adherence to this Policy or a materially similar one.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Content you delete (posts, messages, comments) is removed from user-facing display immediately but may be retained in backend logs or backups for a limited period for security, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

Accounts that remain inactive for an extended period, as defined by our internal policy and communicated in-app, may be subject to automated account cleanup processes, consistent with Section 7 below.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted password storage, authenticated session tokens, and access controls on our backend infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

7. Automated Processing

The Platform uses automated processes for certain functions, including: scheduled cleanup of long-inactive accounts, automatic expiry and resurfacing of advertisement posts, and batched calculation of creator earnings. These automated processes operate on pre-defined rules set by GOA Community Services and do not involve automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you without the ability for human review on request.

8. Your Rights

Under the NDPR and Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

โ— Access the personal data we hold about you.

โ— Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data (most account and profile fields can be edited directly in-app).

โ— Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

โ— Withdraw consent at any time, including by deactivating your account.

โ— Object to or request restriction of certain processing of your data.

โ— Lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) if you believe your data protection rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Support channel described in Section 11.

9. Children's Privacy

Blenavar is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered an account, we will take steps to deactivate that account and delete the associated data.

10. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may process and store data on servers located outside Nigeria as part of its global network. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are subject to adequate safeguards consistent with the NDPR's requirements for cross-border data transfer.

11. Contact and Complaints

For questions about this Privacy Policy or to exercise your data protection rights, contact GOA Community Services through the in-app Support channel, or via the official contact details published at goacommunityservices.com/blenavar-social-business-network. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice prior to taking effect.
